Eating Out In Himeji

Himeji, lies on the coast of the Seto Inland Sea on Honshu, Japan. It's a crossroads for travellers to Japan and home to one of the most spectacular castles in the country. But where to eat? If you look in your Lonely Planet you'll find a few eateries - most of which have now closed or moved on. This site is a counter to that. I'll be posting reports and as much info as I can about where to eat in the city, from Western comfort food to the finest Japanese cuisine.

About Me

Name: Mark
Location: Tatsuno, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan

I'm from Australia but I live in Japan. I lived in Himeji for about six years and moved to Tatsuno in 2008. I teach the glorious English language as best as I can. You're welcome to have a browse around this glimpse into my mind as well as the things that make me tick. Enjoy!
